Title: Stainless / Titanium headers
Post by: The Antibody on July 22, 2007, 10:24:41 AM
Hey, I am in the process of building a custom exhaust. I finally got my silencer and midpipe welded up and finished. I have stock headers, but the midpipe is titanium. I don't want to join rusty steel to titanium. Any suggestions as to where I could find headers that will fit the bike and not rust?

Anyone have jardine headers lying around? They are stainless right?
I live out in the middle of nowhere and there aren't any custom exhaust people around.

Thanks

Nah, I couldn't let her go. I wanted more power and wind protection, but... I don't want to spoil myself. Motorcycling is... I don't know, primal in some way. I don't want to make it too posh.

It's a M4 carbon fiber can. I'll get pics soon enough, but I really need headers. I don't want to stretch the stock ones to match. They also have less airflow.

Thanks for the info Jay. I emailed them and they quoted me £153.86 for the down tubes. (headers)

Wow, a bit more than I want to spend. That is $316. Outrageous!

Thanks again though, I appreciate it.
