Bike is running a bit lean at 1/8 throttle so I want to adjust the mix. I think I've managed to locate the screw on the fiche but in reality, can't find it on the bike for the life of me. Anyone that knows exactly where it is that can tell me exactly where it is?
Thanks.
When you take the carbs off you should see two brass plugs, One covers the holes for the fuel passages and the other is covering the plug. Assuming you have not done a rejet It should still be covered. When looking at both of the brass plugs you want to drill out the smaller one.
In the last picture the screw is #1

I did try to use the second picture on that page for reference but my carbs look different. There is nothing where the screw should be in that picture.
I *think* I've seen those brass plugs you are talking about though. I have to drill one out just to adjust the mixture?
The bike's engine is bone-stock. All I want to do is tweak the mixture slightly with the carbs on the bike.
Thanks.

But the EPA and CARB don't want you to, so they put the plugs there.
You need to remove the carbs and drill the plugs. The fastest way is to remove the air box, The loosen the two boot the hold the carbs to the engine, The simply pull the carbs off but be carfull, turn them over dill the small brass plugs and adjust your screw then just pop the carbs back in place and reverse what I just said. I was able to rejet my carbs and I didnt even remove a single vac hose,Fuel line or even throttle cables. I cheat :icon_mrgreen:
Sheesh what a PITA!
I think I'll leave it alone for now. It's not THAT lean at 1/8 throttle to go through that effort right now...
Thanks for the help.
No porblem. Just to let you know it only took me about 20-25 min to remove the carbs extract all the float bowl screws(Im retarded) and swap the jets and button everything back up. If you dont fix it before our ride in august I can show you then how to do it.
