I'd never buy a bike named after a fast food chain.   :icon_mrgreen:

Sorry, the styling is just waaaay over the top for me.

But hey, different strokes for different folks.  If you do buy one, be sure to tell us all about it.

MSRP is $12,899 according to the suzuki site and my local dealer.  I've already put a deposit down for one and got pre-approved through the bank not to mention the insurance lined up... the owner told me they ordered two from the their rep but were told they might only get one and they won't know what color until the order comes in.  Right now sometime in september is the best guess for when they will be coming in.

Everything I've read says otherwise.  They do share the same powerplant, the B-King has different valve angles.  The biggest difference is that the b-king has a frame of it's own.  When someone says it's just a naked busa I imagine a busa without the fairings and a headlight.  What we have instead is something very different, instead of the supercharged, high-tech, monster that was the concept they used the new busa motor and removed the concept tech (like the special helmet with the hud, biometrics instead of a key)..

yeah......definitely not a nekkid busa :cookoo:   When I think of a nekkid busa I think of that turbobastard that ghostrider pimped for a while :icon_twisted:

Suzuki B-King set to be world's most powerful naked motorcycle

Suzuki's new B-King looks set to be officially crowned the world's most powerful naked motorcycle when its specifications are revealed next week.

The figures for the B-King motorcycle have been a tightly guarded secret, but now insiders say the power, as rated on type-approval papers for the Suzuki motorcycle, has been set at 184bhp.

That's 2bhp more than the latest Suzuki GSX-R1000 makes at the crank, and the Suzuki B-King manages the figure at far lower revs and offers a huge amount of extra torque.

The peak of 184bhp comes at 9500rpm, while the torque – an arm-wrenching 108ftlb – peaks at just 7200rpm. That's a full 22ftlb more than a Suzuki GSX-R1000 can offer, and it's all available nearly 3000rpm lower in the rev-range. To cope with that much power, and the motorcycle's expected weight of around 240kg, the Suzuki B-King has tyres specially developed for it.

With figures like that it's no surprise Suzuki has opted to give the B-King motorcycle two power modes, selectable from a switch on the fuel tank. For wet weather, or if you're not in the mood, the power can be slashed, probably down to below 150bhp, although the figure for the low-power mode is not yet known.

It seems people are either on side of the fence or the other when it comes to the B-King, but I think it's like that with most motorocycles.  Just reading how much power it has is alittle scary, but thanks I will try my best to enjoy.

Somebody should do a dyno run on one of those with the Low-Power mode on, and 2 plug leads pulled.  I bet it'd still walk all over an SV650 in the straights.

All corney ass burger king jokes aside, that is an awsome bike!

I just don't know what I would do with 100ft/lbs of torque and 185 hp.  That is amazing. That would take some getting used to.  I really like styling of the new Z1000 better however, and would probably just opt for a Z1000 instead.  That way I wouldn't have to suffer any of the stupid freakin' BK jokes.
