rebuilding fork on a 1994 gs500. How muck oil does each fork use and what weight?
Just measure 99mm ~ 3.9in. down from the top of the inner tube to get the oil level. This is with the spring out and the fork fully compressed. :thumb:
As for weight...stock is 10W, most people here use 15W (me...it's great) or 20W in order to stiffen up the forks a bit. That is really personal preference between these.
