To post the actual pics, you need to host them on a third-party site, such as photobucket.com
Then you either click the "picture" icon above the laughing smilie, or you add this:

My GF would go mad if I posted a pic of her.
Wow I thought you were joking about prarie dogs :o
Ok that's cool :thumb:
no, I wasn't joking. Roommate didn't want real dogs because if you keep them inside you have to be home at a certain time to let them out, or they stay in a kennel all day and if they are outside, unless you let them roam free or have a fenced in yard then they are in a small lot....so I got prairie dogs. They stay inside, in a cage I made myself. they are kinda like ferrets, you put food out and they eat and drink when they are hungry. no having to rush home so spot doesn't put a spot on the carpet. :thumb:

maverick is gorgeous! i'd love a husky or a wolf when i move to canada. shelby isn't really my dog, she's my sisters but we live together so i call her mine. nikki (sis) and her fiance work very hard to undo shelby's training and let her be an unruly brat. can't wait till i have my own dog and i can teach it to act as a dog should instead of just showering it with love and attention in the wrong ways at the wrong times. i love my shelbs to death but shes a stubborn little Buddha Loves You.
Love the Border Collie. I have always wanted one, but never had the land/time to properly care for one.
This is Aries, our pound-puppy.
Our best guess is that she has some Greyhound and most likely some American Pitbull Terrier in her (Bonus points to anyone who can help me figure out what breeds might be mixed in there).
She is paws-down the best family dog I have ever owned.
And before anyone else points out my extreme dorkiness, yes, that IS a periodic-table T-shirt I'm wearing in that pic 8)

what kind of spider is that? and do you have a cage for it, or does it just run wild? mybrother and law had one that just ran wild in his room that big, it made a 2 foot spider nest in the corner and he would through the food up in its web.
It's a huntsman spider. They're a harmless thing and help keep flies and insects down. It just roams around the house, which is ok except for when it decides to have a rest on a light switch. :o

man that just gives me chills... I could never have a huge spider roaming around my house, it would scare the crap out of me.

Cute pup... Well, Dunno... She looks a bit like my little girl, esp. in the pic above... Jos is half Rottwieler and half Little River Duck Dog (Duck Tolling Retriever) -- sadly I do not have any recent pics on my work machine... but she's got the same face.
If I had to guess, maybe some Boxer in there ... Maybe some Rhodesian Ridgeback... Rotty maybe...

I wouldnt mind having it but i think my roomates would or my landlord, i think my brother in law had a silk spider or something called like that
We don't keep it as a pet, they just show up in the house and we leave them be, which is a brave move by me as I'm a big arachniphobe.

I must be a huge arachniphobe, I guess I can never live in Australia.
Huntsman are good spiders compared to ones like redbacks, funnelwebs or trap doors. The spiders aren't as bad as the snakes we've got. :o

omg i have seen that place before, where is that at? I remember all those stumps in the water, nice dog btw
Rattlesnake Lake when it gets low. It used to be a town before 1913. Then the city dambed the Cedar river that is above and the water sipped through the gravel left by a receding glacier thousands of years ago and flooded the town. They say that one can go down with a scuba gear and see the remnants of the town.

scuba diving? No, never. I do swim across it very often though.
I lvie a mile from it. Normaly, all the trees are under the water surface. It is kinda fun to know where some of the located and be able to sit on it in the middle of the lake.
