Title: neutral indicator...
Post by: CndnMax on July 26, 2007, 11:53:24 AM
to the people that have led indicators, does anyone else have the same issue? well its not really an issue just a weird side effect.
gear in neutral kick stand up:

gear in 1st kick stand up:

gear in 1st kickstand down:

as you can see the led lights up slightly when the kickstand is up and turns off completely when the kickstand is down. I no it has to do with the amount of power it takes to light up the led vs the bulb which wouldn't get enough power to light up like the led does. i jsut found it kinda interesting the kickstand/ interlock switch was making it do that..

as long as it doesn't cause any problems im fine with it, jsut wondering if i was the only one that got this.

edit: actually its not doing it anymore... i had just washed the bike so maybe it had a little water somewhere it didn't like, does water get under those colored lenses?  :dunno_white:
