Title: michael vick
Post by: heatherg11 on July 26, 2007, 07:50:55 PM
this hasn't been brought up yet but what does everyone think???

Think he's guilty, should he be able to go to training camp, etc...

I don't have all the facts so it would be dumb of me to say if he's guitly or not.  But if he is found guilty he should be covered head to toe with bar b que sauce and a pack of hungry dogs should let loose on him.

I live in Atl and I do belive that even if he's found innocent he won't be playing for the Falcons after this season.

It sounds to me like he has already been convicted in the court of public opinion.  It seems to me that even if he is exonerated in the courts, he will take an income/ego hit by losing sponsorships.

Then again, he might come out squeaky-clean.  The public has a short memory sometimes when it comes to athletes.  Most people still think that Ray Lewis murdered a guy, but he wriggled out of it in court and these days he seems to be doing just fine.

If Vick is guilty of what they are saying, I would hope that he gets enough jail time that he loses his contract and is too old to play when he gets out of the joint.  Maybe if his football career is ruined he can start up a demented reality show with his brother Marcus to earn some extra cash.

I need to add nothing else.

Not sure if they are doing this in other parts of the country but they are even starting to attack pit bulls saying that they are only good for dog fighting and that they are not good family dogs .

Thats total BS some of the nicest dogs I have ever met were pit bulls.  It's not the breed anydog can be trained to fight, to single out just pit bulls is just crazy.

Funny story when I was 7 or 8 my mom's best friend had a chiwawa that was the meanest dog I could ever remember rmeeting.  Soon as you walked into the house it would start barking and bitting your heels as you walked by and would chase you through the whole house.

Don't count on Vick getting off "with a slap on the wrist" IF he's guilty. Let's just say I know the judge who's trying his case...and he's well known for not tolerating ANY BS from defense OR prosecution...and being a celebrity / athlete doesn't do much for him either. This isn't OJ and it isn't the West Coast. And if Vick didn't know what the hell was going on IN THE HOUSE / LAND HE OWNED / PAID for, then he needs to go to jail for being an idiot.

It's not like it's far-fetched. Look at his little brother...every coach and scouting report pegs him as the BETTER athlete / football player...but all knew he had an "Attitude problem"..which meant he's post dumb.
