How tough would it be to swap my big fat ugly master cylinder for a nice small remote one? I've got an issue with the banjo bolt hitting the tree with my new bars and the remote looks like it would work perfectly if it's not a huge ordeal to go through.
remove yours
install new one
bleed brakes
pretty simple
just get same diameter bore or the lever feel will be different
where can you pick up a remote master cylinder? ok i should say for fairly cheap
flea bay.....
^ YEP...
someone can tell me how can I enter to flea bay ?????
Flea Bay is a common nickname for Ebay.
Go to Ebay.com and it should redirect to your countries site.
fleaBay = eBay ?? i dont understand lots of people talk obout FleaBay ..
if you ever get screwed on e-bay....you will think hard about using it.
I sent an item back due to important parts missing....and have never heard from the seller again......I don't like e-bay but i will still buy as long as it is freakin cheep
Anybody happen to know what diameter piston these things have got? 5/8" or 14mm?
i don't have a remote one, but i am using a older gixer MC. it's mounted on an angle (used with clipons), smaller and the banjo bolt mounts on the front side instead of towards the gauges. uses stock lever from GS. was cheap on ebay.

The size is normally imbossed on the m/c.
