Title: What a morning
Post by: bubba zanetti on July 29, 2007, 05:08:30 PM
What a Monday morning, I've done something to upset the gods, but I don't know what.  :dunno_white:

First I break the little tag on the zipper on my leathers.

Then I need to jump start the bike, I get it going, pack the jumper leads away, get in the car to move it & the bike stops. I go to start it, I have to re jump start it. I get it going again & get it warmed up.

I gear up ready to go, ride the bike up the driveway and stop to shut the gate, get back on the bike to go, the bike bogs down & stalls.

The only thing to do now is to bump start it. It took about 3 houses to get it going, pushing against a slight incline in the road.

I get to work & it took me 3 goes to get the alarm code right, I kept getting a couple of numbers mixed around.

Then to get my leathers off I had to use a paper clip on the zipper to get them off.

Right now I feel better that I've had a rant.

It's Sunday late afternoon here. I feel your pain. In fact, I think I'll have a margarita in your honour.    :kiss3:

Hope your Monday blues are chased away by my margarita sacrifice to the moto gawdesses....the sacrifices I make for friends.....  :icon_twisted::cheers:

Think you better make it two for me, thanks

I will be going home the long way this afternoon, only 6 1/2 hours to go.

The wife did call me when I got to work to make sure I made it.

In future, please refrain from telling us about your Monday while we're still enjoying our Sunday.   Save that crap for Tuesday, K?   :flipoff:

Thats about 30 celcius. We should be getting those sort of temps here, around end of October, beginning of November .

I think this morning was around 40F with tops around 50 to 55.

Most mornings are around low 30's.

It's amazing, I haven't minded riding to work this winter, maybe I've finally lost my last scrap of sanity.

It probably wasn't a scrap, just bugger all and my kids have caused me to lose that.

I don't suffer insanity, I enjoy it.  :cookoo:

I could imagine the cussing, enough to peel the paint off the walls.  After seeing a few kids born, I'd rather have a broken leg, than ever give birth.

Sorry to hear about your Monday, Tuesday has been a lot smoother.

My monday ended up with the youngest boy bouncing around in our bed at 9:30 last night.

Bonding time with the little monsters can usually cheer one up!  :icon_mrgreen: Except for me....I don't like kids.  :nono: :flipoff:

It wasn't too bad with stuey in there, but when the dog was in there as well, thats when chaos broke loose. The kid scruffing the dog, the dog licking the kid, no wonder parents drink.  Luckily he's a cutey  :icon_mrgreen:
