Well I mounted my new Avon AV tires. Big improvement in handling. :o Much better than the Cheng Shins that came with the bike.
Do I use the same pressure as the stock tires (33 psi front, 36 psi rear for solo and 41 psi rear for two-up)?
Avon suggests 29/36 psi for their Roadrider bias ply tires, no way of knowing what they might suggest for the AV45/46 radials since that's not a recommended fitment unless you contact Avon.
I ran my AV45/46 tires at 34/36 psi same as I did with my Z4/Z2 radials and same as I'm running now with my Lasertec/RoadAttack combo. I removed the AV45/46 tires at 12,700 miles because the front was badly beveled and cupped. I wouldn't run another AV45 front at less than 34 psi. Rear would have gone the same approx 14k miles the Z2 rear did.

Commonly, you should always use the pressure indicated on the bike regardless of the tires being used. That's true of bikes and cars. The vehicle's fuel economy and handling are based on those tire pressures. Hope that helps. :thumb:
