Title: Need fork legs for a 93
Post by: flyingmachine on July 30, 2007, 06:19:41 PM
My right leg is leaking so bad that my brake pads are constantly fouled.  Anyone got a set of non-leaking fork legs for sale?  thanks,

Send them to me. I will replace the fork oil, seals, and dust seals for $70 + return shipping. Most shops charge $120 or more. That price includes parts.

It's about $30 for seals and a quality fork oil.I have the special tool to disassemble the GS forks and know how to set the fork oil level correct.

Thanks.Jay

I wish it's as simple as replacing the seals, the tube are so pitted, I don't think new seal will fix it.  I'll try to get some pics up in a few days (bike is at buddy's house)

If the tubes are pitted it's a waste to rebuild them unless you have accsess to the equipment to repair them.I don't know what Suzuki used to keep the fork legs from rusting.Maybe nitride or heat treat maybe.  :dunno_white:
