some interesting view points, ignorant generalizations, about motorcycles from people: http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=212965&perpage=15&pagenumber=1 (http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=212965&perpage=15&pagenumber=1)

GOOD GRIEF! Did you guys read this one?
"I was in Sacramento on a 2 lane street trying to make a left turn with my signal on. When approaching traffic cleared, and I began to turn left, a motorcycle struck me in the passenger door and the rider was thrown way down the street. He was just in too much of a hurry, and too impatient, to simply wait instead of trying to pass me in a TOTALLY illegal way, let alone observe the legally posted speed limit. He paid the price with a bad case of road rash, and rightly so. He had NO insurance, however, so I paid the price for his stupidity and immaturity as well."
To recreate the scenario...
car wants to make a left.
motorcycle hits PASSENGER door.
Somehow its the rider's fault?
Isnt the cage at fault here? for going without looking?
"I was just in too much of a hurry, and too impatient, to simply wait"
*Fixed*
unless she meant turn right? :dunno_white:. but even then she could of just as well hit him than him hit her.

  That my friend is now one of my rules to live by, wonder if thats a reasonable excuse for speeding. ;)
hmmm i think you are on to something here
officer: do you know why i pulled you over?
me: for not wearing my seatbelt?
officer: no, for going 105 in a 35...
me: oh well you see those people driving them cars, their trying to kill me. I've got the myspace thread to prove it!
*officer jumps into his cruiser and stops the next cager for conspiracy to commit murder*
officer: you sir are an idiot and are going to get the biggest ticket
But thats never going to happen because i never speed. :icon_mrgreen:
yawn, same ol same ol, i don't even listen to them anymore. i have started pointing to my helmet when i see dumb ass' without them, which is most of the motorcyclists here in maine. i can't figure out a state that mandates car seats and seat belts but allows stupid people to ride motorcycles without a lid.
Oooooh...does this come in red!!??

yes, stupid people are everywhere. stupidy shows no discrimination for what type of vehicle you own. you can not have any ride at all and still be a moron.
