Page Dgyver. He's made more GS/Kat mods than anyone I know.

Werase is also a great resource for this kind of question.

If the inside distance between the 2 bearings is exactly the same on the Kat wheel as the GS wheel the GS spacer will do, if not you need the Kat one. Use the wrong size and the bearing races will preload against each other when you nip everything up and quickly fail. Personally I would go with the Kat one as its guaranteed to be the correct length.

So the Gs500 wheels and the Kat 1990 wheel are the same ,as they look indentical to me ,and i just need one of them for the b6 wheel . the kat wheel is off the bike ,my gs wheel is still on, so id much prefer to use the kat one , but i just need to no for sure .
Thanks for your input guys

The B6 bearing spacing is wider than the GS. The only option that I know of is to have one made.

I thought they were the same and that was the reason for spacing the sprocket out.I guess I had better go fix mine.

He may have used the B6 spacer. It will touch most of the inner race but I would not recommend using it.
