We had some yellow paint at work from when I painted a N20 cart for a company called Pemco.  I had to add a little bit more catalyst and accelerator so it dryed fast and stuck better. The color is not exact but its pretty close. Go to a auto body shop and ask for a quart of PPG AUE-280 Yellow and that should come with the cat AUE-281 and you will ned some accel I think the PN is AU-11. and use a detail Gun.

Paint on vinyl? Probably will not last too long. Especially after a ride with a passenger.

i tried that with the center console of a car one time, dumbest thing i ever did.  it looked good for about 2 days, then the paint started wearing.  hope u saved a few bucks for some thinner, or a new seat

That is why you use an additive that will help it hold to vinyl. I had my passenger ride with me yesterday for about an hour and a half with no problem. but we will see I have everything I need at work to take it off, Or touch it up.

looks good but it will be best if a ("tapicero" = people that change cover of chairs) "tapicero" cover the back half of the seat with yellow vinyl, here in PR you could get that job for $15.00 is not bad . i am thinking on doind that

but dont worry i use cheap methods too I paint my tank with spray can ... just look

well good idea, using vinyl adhesion and paint it probably can las a fair amount of time, I used the same method to repaint my bumpers on my car fade only started showing 2 years down the road, so I repainted them then.

suggestion next time, to spare yourself overspray on the edges, use tape. (grin)

You can buy pretty decent paint for vinyl itself. it soaks in the thing and works well.
Cool.

When I did the similar solo look tail on my 97, I used marine grade vinyl. It is a close color match and it will not come off.
