I was on vacation last week and went over the hill (Rocky Mountains) to visit family. While I was over there I stopped by a dealer to look at some Victory motorcycles. As luck would have it they had some on demo so I got a chance to ride one. Wow, what a bike. Since the only bike I have ever been on is my gs500 it was quite a shock. I just have to say that it was great. Anyway, now back to work.
i was not a fan of tehm back in 01-02 being owned by polaris :icon_confused:, BUT the kingpin and the new models are teh pwn  ( and this is coming from an hd fan)
I haven't tried anything else. I'm looking at a Kawasaki Vulcan, Yamaha V-star, and Honda Shadow. Any comments on any of these bike would be appreciated.
looking at the cruisers huh ? grandfather as a vaulcan 1500 classic . nice well get up and move .. runs a 14.2 in a 1/4 .. well the one run i did on it thats what it did .... but its nice . needs a better seat . but its big . its very centered i droped it one time and picked it right up . i like it . if i was to buy a cruiser then that would proubly be my pick .. grandparents just bought a honda goldwing 1800 and grandfather said its smoootthhhhh they had it turned in to a trike about 2 weeks after they got it ( for my grandmother ) i rode it .. it is nice . :) v6 on it..
...boxer 6.
cruisers yuk, go bald, gain 200 lbs and wear a bandanna for a helmet
I don't think that I could handle another 200 lbs, and I always wear my gear. I took the gs500 on my first sort of long ride (~150 miles) about two weeks ago. It about wrecked my right knee. I have loved the thing and I haven't decided if I want to get rid of it but I don't think that it will work for me for a long ride. It has been a great bike to start on and I have had a great time with it. Don't be hatin' I'll have it for another season or two. Just starting to look around a bit.
