I have an idea for everybody...given everything going on right now - the mods and admins wanting GSTwins to be more "family-friendly" and "how it used to be/how it was intended to be", and the members wanting a place where they can screw around and discuss freely whatever they wanted (within reason), the solution is a private forum. A private forum can not be seen at all by anybody, except people who have been entered into the "safe list" for that particular section. This forum probably already has one for only the mods and admins to discuss forum issues in (most forums have something like this) without their comments being seen by your average member. I know this is possible with phpbb, and I believe it is also possible with SMF. So you can throw an, vert, special terry etc. on the list as well as anybody else who pm's an admin to request that they are put on the list with the understanding that there will likely be some offensive material. This way the forum appears clean and professional to your average member but allows some of the other members to have some fun and keep the offensive material out of view. Solves both issues at once.
So, all in favor of "The Dungeon", say "I"
I. Whole f%$king heartedly.
you would ;)
or some people, not naming anyone specifically, could just grow up O0
Send me in coach.
it wont happen, i had suggested a "thunderdome" a while back around the time the tf came into being, but it was met with a "no" but if it were available, " put me in as well" :thumb:
High fffiiivvveee!
Or we can just log onto the IRC chat room. I also understand Myspace has a small gs500 section. But that may also be an anti to this site.
errm так о мое место
The idea of a hidden sub forum which could remain unmoderated and unknown to any members joining after its creation is a good idea. The board would appear clean, could still have TF but members who want to piss around can piss around in there and no one would be any the wiser.
However, do we really need to resort to this. Grown up people should know how to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and not need to result to what would be the equivalent of supernanny's naught step.
People should learn to act their age.

Grown up people also like to mess around and have fun. Not everything in the tard farm was fights, some of it was good old fashioned flaming among friends, some of it was funny stuff that was not safe for work. Along with being able to comport themselves properly, grown up people should be able to handle grown up things like swear words, or insults.
Why should you be swearing and insulting? Plus you are just as guilty of not coping with insults becuase you think its insulting to get banned for crap behaviour.
i did find the tard farm a really funny place and I think that the idea of a hidden place with a requirement to enter, (age verification, pledge to not report to mods whatever) would be a good idea

That's the thing. My ban was not a result of crap behavior. Nothing that I did broke ANY of the rules of the forum. I was banned solely based on a mod's dislike of a certain ex-member, and my association with said ex-member.
edited because I wrote crab instead of crap.. haha
ya right your full of crap
Why the hell was *I* listed first?!?!?!?
