I usually buy something with intentions to keep it stock or as it is, but never seem to be able to. My last projects of the last few years was an 89 saleen mustang, a 1993 wrangler, and a 2004 nissan sentra spec v. I just got the bike this year and am learning so much about the cycle world from this site as well as reading mags and riding with buddies of mine. I finally took some time to clean up the bike a little already. I took the cafe fairing off, cleaned up the rear by doing the ghetto fenderectomy, de-reflectored the rear section, shortened rear stalks, and added drag bars in the last 2 days. These have cost me a grand total of 10 bucks for the bar. I bought superbike bars also, but they ended up too close to what I already had. Next to come will be flat black, Napoleon mirrors on both sides, re-jet, and either drilled exhaust for now but a used jardine or a new vance setup will be for long term. I may lower it a bit with new dogbones just to lower the CG a little bit, but I can flat foot it as it is and don't want to mess with the geometry too much. I also dropped a tooth in front which really helped out my around town oomph. Other things that I've looked at but don't know if I want to go that far are rearset, kat shock, and kat front end with some kind of dual light setup. Those are really the only three things I would want to do. Thanks for all the help guys, and i'm sure I'll post pics when I quit being lazy and set it up the way I want.
