Title: Modifications
Post by: samrii on August 15, 2007, 10:45:09 PM
I want to do something with the blinkers on my 04 GS500F. I want to get some front fairing hugger blinkers. Also I bought a clear taillight with integrated blinkers and separatly I purchased some wiring loom that when properly installed it is supposed to turn on the blinkers as running lights but I don't want it to energize the integrated blinkers in the taillight any ideas?

First idea: Get some BIG BRIGHT LED blinkers. Those cute undertail things don't make enough light to matter. The 'integration' kills the visual impact that pod blinkers have.

The front fairing flushmounts look neat, but do the same thing. Consider getting some stylish pod types, with BIG BRIGHT LEDs.

Just my 2 cents.

i disagree....when you see a brake light and the blinker is right there it gets noticed more.

thats my thinking

so do you have anyideas on how to hook up the integrated taillights and use the existing blinkers as daytime running lights?  Then I want to eventually upgrade the existing blinkers to led huggers front and back my problems is I can't find a company that makes them for the GS500F everybody makes everything for the GSXR and the Yam R's.

any flush mounts that are made for flat surfaces will work. like these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/kawasaki-ninja-ZX6-636-ZX7-ZX9-ZX10-CARBON-TURN-SIGNALS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35598QQihZ001QQitemZ110158468473QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)
