Anyone ever try one out or heard of reviews of it? For $8 it isnt a bad deal even it doesnt work.
Yep its late and I and trolling ebay for odd things! and this is post # 400 for me!
They are ok, but you still can't take your hand away from the bar.
Thats why I prefer trottle locks.
My friend got one for his bike, and he really likes it.
They are only like $9 at our local shop tho... shipping from an e-bay seller probably isn't worth it.
It was $1 shipping for 2 of them one for me and one for my dad.
lol, then it is a deal
I just used one on the WA state 3 Pass Blast. That's a 200 mile endurance ride through 3 mountain passes, including riding within about 20 miles of Mt Rainier. (Actually 300 total, including 50 mile commute to/from the start/finish). I loved it. Granted, you do still have to hold onto the bar, but I'm not ready to commit to a throttle lock just yet anyway.
I did a 2 day 500 mile ride a couple months ago without the Throttle Rocker and my hand was much worse off on that one.
They come off very easily too, for riding around the city and whatnot.
I got mine today and rode around city and interstate and love the thing. Lets you open your hand and rest your fingers on the brake lever or just stretch them around.
Also got some Gel grips and they are nice and soft which helps also.
If you want one they are on ebay. For $9-$9.50 shipped.
