Title: WTB Left fork lower 89-97 Kat 600/750
Post by: dgyver on August 19, 2007, 06:58:51 PM
Just need the lower left fork tube for a 89-97 Katana 600/750. Cosmetics not important. Bent inner tube is fine as long as there are not any dents or deep gouges in the lower.

I started rebuilding a set and found a dent that went deep enough to damage the slide bushing. Wanted to see if someone has one cheap enough before I see if I can modify an '88 set that I have to use.

Maybe someone has a bad set that they bought for a f/e swap.

I saw a set of 95s on ebay and they don't have the little drain plug that indexes the bottom part of the valve.I wonder if the 600 don't have them and the 750 do?  :dunno_white:

The 89-97 600 has it as well as the 88-96 750. (I have been working on documenting the difference in the models and years)

Did it have the dampening adjustments on the top of the tubes? It would not surprise me that this particular front end was already swapped out with an '88 600 or '97 750 and the seller did not know, not like something silmilar has happen to me already.  :icon_rolleyes:
