Title: did search, plastic screws?
Post by: cerius on August 20, 2007, 02:55:31 PM
ok so now my screen vibrates or something when i rev high and it sounds like a really bad rice burners' trunk with really crappy speakers. all because i stripped the damn plastic screws on the screen. anybody have any idea on metal ones? I found this website http://www.mcmaster.com/ that might have the right screw, but does anybody know the thread size and all that junk for it?

go to your local MC shop and pick  a pack up for about 5 bucks or so . i got some  red chrome ones for cheap . all they are is a screw with a rubber grommet that expands when you tighten it down . :)

I don't know where you live?  I'm in the bay area, and got them at a place called Road Rider.  Just a motorcycle supply place.
