Title: WHO ARE YOU? I NEED HELP
Post by: can_rizla+. on August 21, 2007, 04:13:16 PM
OK so i was browsing the site searching for a gsxr rear tire fitment and i came across this person who had built up a gs500, made a custom rear tail and everything...and managed to put a HYBUSA front brake on his bike. I want to do this and i wanted to know how i should go about doing it. All help woul dbe greatly appriciated. The finsihed bike was raw looking, yellow..etc. The old bike pix was of a blueish gs500e and there was a crazy ptach of rubbed laid down infront of the bike.... This maybe a stab in the dark...but it was worth trying for... O0

Not sure who's bike you saw... but... to mount a different front caliper, you will need to make an adapter plate. Whenever I do something like this, I mock up what I want with a cardboard template first. I normally I use 1/4-1/2" aluminum when I make them.
