Title: WTB - Misc Parts
Post by: DLW on August 23, 2007, 03:08:46 PM
Looking for some Misc parts to replace on my '92 GS

As you can tell by the busted up parts, my bike has been dropped on the right side(not by me).  Luckly no major damage was done other than to the plastic parts.

If anyone has any of these that they are willing to part with for a reasonable price and shipping please PM me so we can work out the details.

Thanks muchly in advance.

Sounds like typical "left outside" GS conditions.

Let me look through my "inventory" and get back to you.

I just saw a rear fender on ebay this week. There are several CLICK HERE (http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C5&fscl=1&sacur=0&sorefinesearch=1&fcl=2&frpp=50&from=R10&saslop=1&fstype=1&fss=0&sojs=1&mppfqy=%28GS500%2C+GS500E%2C+GS+500%2C+gs+500%29+-%28Honda%29+-%28Yamaha%29+-%28Roland%29+-%28%22Black%22%29+-%28%221989+-+2002%22%29&satitle=fender+%28GS500%2C+GS500E%2C+%22GS+500%22%2C+%22gs+500%22%2C+GS500F%2C+gs500f%29+-%28Honda%29+-%28Yamaha%29+-%28Roland%29+-%28%22Black%22%29+-%28%221989+-+2002%22%29+-%28SONY%29+-%28panasonic%29+-%28enzymatic%29&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&fts=2&fmmk=&fmmd=&fylo=&fyhi=&mppfqy=%28GS500%2C+GS500E%2C+%22GS+500%22%2C+%22gs+500%22%2C+GS500F%2C+gs500f%29+-%28Honda%29+-%28Yamaha%29+-%28Roland%29+-%28%22Black%22%29+-%28%221989+-+2002%22%29+-%28SONY%29+-%28panasonic%29+-%28enzymatic%29&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=29625&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&salic=1&fhlc=1&fsop=2%26fsoo%3D2&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=)

You are going to do better just buying the gauge bucket. It is only around $40 or so (I think) new. Most used ones are either cracked or sun faded and ready to crack.

The bracket on the other hand is priced crazy -- real crazy.  You might be better off finding someone to strip it and powder coat it. It will be better in the long run.
