Post by: Affschnozel on August 23, 2007, 04:31:02 PM
This austrian fire fighting equipment company thought it would be a good idea to turn GS500F into a FireBike  :icon_lol:

I laughed so hard

Clicky here it's a PDF format: https://www.rosenbauer.com/tools/cms_media.php?mid=6649&pdf=true (https://www.rosenbauer.com/tools/cms_media.php?mid=6649&pdf=true)

i think its a good idea.  It can get into places that other vehicles cant.  Also its an easy bike to ride. So almost anyone can do it.   Im sure its mainly used for car fires.

That gives me an idea.
I can strap two beer kegs onto the GS.

It looks great, but you know, there are probably a lot of better choices of motorcycles to strap a hose and 70 litres of fire retardant to.  Something like a V-Strom comes to mind.

It's missing a RED emergency response light.

Wonder how she handles when loaded with 200 pounds of liquid and other paraphernalia?

PS.  I like the idea of dual Beer Kegs.  You'd be very popular at outdoor parties.   :)
