Title: Latest Project
Post by: VTNewb on August 25, 2007, 05:03:32 PM
Hey guys,

I got myself a running 78 CX500 for $250 dollars. It was a complete rust bucket though. After some new lower bars and some paint and a seeeeerious rear fender chop heres where I'm at:

All I need to do now is chop/foam/upholster the cafe seat, get me some bar end mirrors, and clean up the wheels. Forks are about to come out for fork seals. Fork gators are going on. It's going to get an offset white stripe.

It also needed all the basic things. Clutch/Throttle cables, clear turn signal lenses and amber bulbs/new front brakeline/banjo bolts/fittings/fluid/brake grease.

I also got carb rebuild kits just because it's so facking old.

That would look sick with some 17 inch spoke wheels!

Would look seriously sick with the wheels and USD forks from a sport classic :icon_twisted:  Oddly,  I know a guy with the wheels and forks from one for sale :icon_rolleyes:
