Title: Pingel Customer Service
Post by: spc on September 01, 2007, 08:48:29 PM
IS INCREDIBLE!!!

The pingel racing GSXR petcock on my frankenbike sprung a leak, so I called pingel up.   They told me to send it in with a $15 check and they would rebuild it.   Turns out that the one I sent in was one of the first and they just replace em for free.  So they sent me a brand new petcock  ($94 on their website) and my check back along with some stickers and care instructions..........

Pingel ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, where the hell are my jets from Srinath!!!

I wouldnt consider it good customer service when they ask you to pay $15 to rebuild their ridiculously overpriced valve, that just sprung a LEAK.

Yeah, it's just f%$king absurd that a 20 year old valve popped an O-ring :cookoo: and they want $15 bucks to replace the O-rings and the mesh filter and then ship it back to you.

Well that seems a bit more reasonable, I figured you were talking about a newer GS using it.

Either way, they are overpriced. :icon_lol:

Hey, the gotta pay for that super duper swiss machine some how huh?    :)

I use a $12 valve from the boat supply.  I'm not very happy with the design of Pingel petcocks.   :icon_mrgreen:
