Title: Fixed WOT fuel problem
Post by: RotaryTempest on August 06, 2003, 09:28:04 PM
Hey,

I was having a fuel flow problem at WOT, right about 70 it would bog down a bit.  I removed the spring from inside the vaccum assembly on the reserve petcock.  This allows for less vaccum to open the diaghram.  Works just fine now.

Yep, that would fix it! It will never shut off now, of course.

Hey Kevin...
He said it works fine now....didn't he....He must be right....Suzuki Just has a huge bin full of springs lying about so they tend to drop them in the bike at random .... I believe in Japan its very expensive to trash them.
BTW I think Suzuki put in some springs in the front suspension too...all those do is make you stick way up in the wind...Just toss them, so the reduced air drag should go right in line with your new found speed...
Cool.
Srinath.

Dont do this,  Just like not having a petcock there at all.
