Title: touching-up Givi plastic?
Post by: Rema1000 on September 02, 2007, 08:52:34 PM
I have a black Givi fairing, that has some gouge/scrathes (resulting from a tip-over).  Where the plastic is scratched, the scratches appear almost white.  Against the black fairing, the scratches look pretty ratty.  Anyone have suggestions for making them blend in with the surrounding plastic better?

a touch up can be done with any kind of black paint and a fine pencil, takes some efford but youll like the result. if the scratche are too deep buy some polyester filling but then you have to sand it and repaint the whole black part ( spraycan wil work don't forget to spray primer first )
good luck
