Title: NEED:STOCK EXHAUST
Post by: erbilabuc on September 04, 2007, 04:48:51 PM
OK AS TITLE states. I dont need the entire exhaust , all I really need is the headers. Well part of the headers. I am going to make a one-off undertail exhaust all the way from headers but I need about 6 inches from were the headers connect into the exhaust outlet part of the motor. I dont want fab up everything and having the 2 pieces that go inthe exhaust ports and the 2 clamps to hold down the exhaust already will save me a lot of time. I am looking to pay next to nothing or pretty much will take a free one for R&D. I will be making 2 of these, 1 to learn and the other to improve on the 1st design.

thanks

Location would probably help..

Why are you going to make an exhaust system with the small stock tubing?

California is a large state. I am in orange county, .. well .. my location is right to the left there. I have a stock exhaust, I dont want to GIVE it away, but we may be able to work something out where you can use it.

im in 92277

I wanted to make my own bends and right now I have a full Jardine on it (06) but I want to follow the factory lines just to be safe, I might route the exhaust to the left side if I cannot fit the can under the tail. I have bought a carbon fiber slip on from a different bike that I am planning to cut up and use.

thanks
