Hi this is my first time on this site,just to let you know there is a person in england racing a gs500,and it is more or less standered.I am going to be looking at tuning and modifying it for next season and did not know people raced them in usa.I have a web site if any one is interested, www.barelyabelracing.co.uk have a look and tell me what you think.

Welcome to the site. Lots of good racing info here as there is a large contingent (or are they individually large? :nana: ) of racers.

I dont know if any one else in england races gs500.I race against cb500s,gsx400s,z750s,tz250s and any thing else air cooled twin shock or pre 1987.

Wow, there's still GSX400S racing in england !? :o I know it is a 8 valves head ... but does it run good compared to a GS500 ?

 There's a lot of different bikes in your class.

Yes there are a few different bikes.Its a class were the restrictions are run by the club, the basic rule is twin shock air coooled but they also let in any thing they class as interesting or that they cannot find another class for  (or slow).The gsx i race against is run by a lady and is quite quick, not many of the bikes are standard as you can modify them quite alot, but you cannot alter the cc .
