Title: The Aussie: Where to Buy Stuff Thread
Post by: galahs on September 05, 2007, 04:36:39 AM
Being in the land down under often means we are subjected to higher prices than our overseas counterparts are.

This intention of this thread is to list places both locally and overseas where Australian's can purchase items for their GS500's.

If possible list what payment methods are accepted, postage costs, time for delivery and comments about customer service.

Haven't bought from him, but have been Suggested http://myworld.ebay.com.au/slipstream_performance/

Notice the price for Frame Sliders - under $100. Email first to make sure the ones he sells will fit.

Also, from the UK http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SUZUKI-GS500E-FRAME-ENGINE-CRASH-BOBBINS-FRB016-/250745862605?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3a619e39cd#ht_500wt_1156

For "Silences" and "Radiator / Oil Cooler" guards, check out http://www.beowulf-performance-products.com/shop/default.asp

Just browsing the Radiator guard section, their prices are cheaper than elsewhere I've seen in Aust. (Obviously, the GS500 doesn't have a radiator, but any other bike you have, or will be getting, might have).

eBay seller lights4all has led tail lights in clear and smoke designs. About 66 bucks plus postage I was quoted 40 euro to ship to Brisbane.

Anyone know where to buy mirrors for naked GS? I suppose I could use any mirror with 10mm thread, but am looking for a cheaper place than a Suzuki dealer who want almost $100 for oem mirror.

eBay is your friend in situations like this.
