Lovin' the look of this bike. Anyone ever been on one?

I really like the Daytona 675. It's on the list for my next bike after I get a few seasons of riding experience under my belt.
there is one for sale around here somewhere. i saw it driving by one day
Never been on one. I do have a mini replica of one from a previous year sitting on my desk. I think it's the one that was used in the Mission Impossible 2 movie. Anyhoo, the Speed Triple is a definite looker in my book.
I've only heard one. It was THE SWEETEST sounding machine with two wheels I've ever heard.
If you like the Speed Triple, check out the Street Triple. It's equally cool.
Don't forget, no one really cares what your bike looks like, and you can't really appreciate it while riding it, so go for comfort and longevity !
My next bike will be a speed triple, zx6r or zx10r . Definately a even race so far with the zx6r and the speed triple. I love the speed triple
Even race???
ZX6R- 600cc supersport with fairly predictable hp/tq
S3- 1050cc Naked Standard with absurd torque and respectable hp
I meant an even race with which one i will decide on!
wouldn't be much of a competition in my mind :dunno_white: But I don't particularly like Kawi's anyway.
So yeah...I'm shopping around for my next bike. I'm not going to invest much more $ into my GS. Probably going to pull the trigger on a new bike within the next couple months.
I really like the entire Triumph urban bike line up. Anyone have any personal experience with Triumph bikes in general?
One of the reason I like them is because you don't see them all over like you do GSXs and CBR's...but I would imagine that also make parts and mods harder to come by and more expensive. :dunno_white:

Took a look at an 955cc 98' T595 TRIUMPH DAYTONA.
Honestly it felt like a bit too much for me to handle, but man...beautiful machine.

I love the look of the 675 but the talk is that that rear shock is a bit to firm. The Speed Triple is nice enough but it just doesn't do much for me. Sorry.
A friend of mine just sold his 05 ZX10 but i got to ride it a couple of times before he did.
The seating position was a bit to extreme for a old bugger like me but that engine is to die for. (not literally of course).
Another thing i didn't like was the fact the seat slopes downward a bit so your "boys" are always kissing the tank. Kinda brings a tear to your eyes even before you hit a bump in the road. Would have bought it if not for the seat & the fact that GREEN is just not for me.
Did i mention that engine though...man. what a rush.
Ended up buying a new SV1000S three weeks ago & its already due for its first service. Can't stay of the thing. Love it.
Damn, now pandy is going to want pics of the new bike.
I don't know about the speed triple, I don't really care for the looks much. But I did have to go to the triumph dealer yesterday to get oil the gixxer. The local suzuki dealer didn't have ANY in stock. The people there were very friendly, it wasn't a bunch of stupid kids like at the suzuki dealer trying to bullshit you into a bike. 675 is probably my next bike.
...they don't make it in blue though do they...damn...
This is my next bike.
In the words of Fat Bastard
"dead Sexy"
i like the STREET triple better :thumb:
