Title: 04 GS500F Black Engine Covers

hey i have an 04 GS500F all black, i seen a lot of GS500 with the black engine, what do i need to change it to, or is it a DIY job?

any help is appreciated

Nah, you can do it yourself. Once you find yourself the right and left engine covers, buy the coresponding gaskets. (in case you tear one) Next, drain the oil, unscrew the bolts, and do the old switcheroo.

You can also spray them yourself, buy a sprayingcan of flatblack and a can of primer, tape of the logo sand the covers  and your in business..

Better use a paint made for engines. cosmiccharlie used Duplicolor Engine Enamel low gloss black and it looks awesome.
