Title: very angry at motorcycle-superstore.com
Post by: chris5150 on September 06, 2007, 11:08:25 AM
the reason i am angry is because i had a very nice Michelin Pilot Activ from motorcycle-superstore
it said they were on back order but should ship within 3 business days. it has now been 7 business
days, so i called them up and they told me there would not be one is stock to ship to me till october.
they offered remove the authorization from my credit card but that could take up to 15 days. so now
i will be recieving a pirelli sportdemon that will be here is around a week. i am not angry that there
was a problem and they did not contact me. they were just going to let me wait until october.

sorry i needed to vent

Gotta love when a retail biz has the right to take that long to refund your $$$  They should have to pay you interest on it

:2guns: :2guns:

Thats happened to me before. and it was because the Co. over charged me by $100+! They admitted it and knew it was their fault, but it took over 25 days to get the $$ back  :bs:

be a decent motorcycle shop in this town. we have alot shops but they all suck. there
service people are retarded, and the prices a insane.

i would be happy if i could ride my bike. it is just sitting there gathering dust.
i have a bt45 tire on there now that has a decent amount of tread but
is bubbling up in spots. i am normally a happy stoner but i just wanna go
for a ride.

you know... you should just point out that it takes them 20 seconds to charge your card, it takes them 20 seconds to credit it.

By raising enough stink, I got Travelocity to credit my account on the same day by just pissing off enough people.... they wanted to wait 2 billing cycles to credit my account.

the problem is not that it is a charge. the problem is that it was an authorization (aka hold)
on a credit car which takes up to 15 day to be removed from your card.

if i do not have a tracking # for those sportdemons in a couple of days i will be really aggravated.

well, okay.  I'll tell you this, I used to deal with this problem alot when I was a manager.... you're getting screwed... they can reverse/cancel it as fast as they place it... they just dont wanna deal with the hassle.

it's all about the benjamins. if they aint' makin money, they don't care. that's the impression i get from a lot of businesses today. no matter what type of merchandise they sell. seems that customer service had gone donwhill in a lot of places and types of stuff. not just motorcycles.
