I was trying to find more pics of the bike, but only found these two from when I went to Nevada on it:

Guys and gals, I need your advice. This is a 2005 GS500F with less than 9k miles. Fresh out of a major tune up (not that anything was wrong to being with). Never dropped (or 'gently put down' like some claim). It has never ever tasted the asphalt. No cracks, etc. Everything that can be new, is. new tires, new sprockets, new chain, sparkplugs, etc etc. It has one of those big K&N air filters (yeah, the ones with lifetime warranty), and the blue strips on the wheels come off if you don't like them (not painted). Everything stock (you can see the tail in there!!!)
So here is the deal... I am still paying for this and I decided to post this once I reached a balance on the amount I was thinking to sell it before. That balance is $3600 which I believe is a good deal.
The reason I am still making payments is because a while ago I had enough cash to pay it at once, but the financial institution suzuki uses, wanted all the cash of the principal + interests, even if I was gonna pay all at once.. so I decided to just continue on the payments.
I am not exatly sure how this would affect a sale, except for the fact that the title in not in my hands and would be transferred to the buyer after his payment for the bike had been sent to the financial institution, who in turn would send the title to me. I guess that's how it works. Sorry, never sold something like this before.
Most important, the REASON FOR SELLING: I don't get to ride it as much as I would like to :icon_confused:
My job keeps me really busy and given that I have to dress formal attire to work, commuting with the bike would be a real hassle overtime.
Anyway, regardless of what I believe, my question is: is the price right? more? :icon_mrgreen:
thanks (bike is in north cali btw)
if i had the cash and weren't so far away i'd buy it. looks like she's been babied! beautiful bike. stick to your price. IMHO :thumb:
thanks for the comment jserio.
this bike never ever let me down. only twice stopped working while I was on the freeway and I was like WTF!!! ...
because I ran out of gas both times :icon_mrgreen: (that was of course back when it had like 100 miles and I was new to this motrocycling world).
:thumb: so I should post it on the proper section at that price?
i'd have to see it in person. but as of now i don't think your price is too outrageous. it is less than new msrp. 05 you say? 9k? hmm...rode plenty but well taken care of from the pics. good luck with the sale! i think it's a good price considering location etc. hoperfully who ever buys her takes as good of care of her as you did. :thumb:
Price is good, were the carbs rejetted when you installed the K&N?
Also, it's hard to sell a bike when you don't hold the title, most buyers will be wary of that. I'd suggest getting a loan for the payoff from your bank, or even your parents, paying it off, getting the title in hand, THEN selling the bike. Not only could you possibly (probably) get a little more money for the bike, but it will make the transaction MUCH easier for both you and the purchaser. Just my $.02
Pay it off first, then sell it. Makes life much easier.
