cd -> the mods are great, they work hard and do the best for this board although it is believed that "others" can do a far superior job to our moderators and that with their better outlook on what it is to be a moderator they will have a better more informative forum to compete with this one. Although as were finding out and they are learning - its a hard job and they can't do any better despite claiming otherwise.

bought new jets from the dealer.........the ones from srinath showed up 2 days later.
put em in, pinched a float bowl gasket.
Got a new one.
the coil for cylinder 1 and 4 decided it only wants to fire every now and then.
Went to the Suz shop and ordered one, should be here tomorrow.
Still have to rig up a mount for the seat and wire the tail lights.
Other than that and actually buying an acewell speedo/tach it's ready. :o
I have a really weird solo seat from one of my old racebikes....it was a gsxr1100 chassis with a built kat 600 engine and it is the first gen frame
if interested...i'll find it and take a pic
Definitely!!! I haven't really figured out what I want yet so I'm just strapping the seat from a new gix6 to the rails until I figure it out

I think its a perfect example of the natural dynamics of a group. There are leaders (either natural born, or appointed) who interpret the mandate given them as best they can and there are those members who push as hard as they can just to be contrarians, against the grain of the main membership. The censoring, deleting, editing of OFFENSIVE posts was NOT the issue on GSTwins.
The issue was deleting of posts referring to the IRC Chat and the banning of members that re-posted links to the IRC Chat... None of the IRC Chat posts should have been deleted. None of the members should have been banned for posting the IRC Chat info. This was entirely perpetrated by one moderator who found the IRC Chat to be offensive or attacking (which I never witnessed).
As far as the "other" board falling apart... shaZam! in, shaZam! out. If people only post bullshit and start stupid fights, then the board will die...
^^ it was more than the IRC. it was "heavy handed" moderating overall, mostly people blamed Pandy even though we all were moderating.
