He lost control of his bike and hit a telephone pole.
I spent many a crazy saturday night with him keeping my drunk ass out of trouble.

My condolences.

I'm sorry you lost a friend.  It's a reminder to all of us that every time we ride, this can happen.  Yes, we wear gear and we take every precaution, but sometimes it's just our number that is up.  I'm sorry for your loss.

Everybody else, ride safe.

Terry,  I know I've already told you this, but I'm sorry to hear that you lost a very special friend.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family and his friends.

His son is due any day.
A local bar just outside the AFB is having a year long fundraiser to help with the kid.

There was a ceremony on base yesterday (friday) and they brought his dog in to the church.  I swear the dog knew.  All it did was whine and try to leave.

We're having an unofficial 'memorial' tonight at the bar we frequented the most.
I'm off to pound back a couple of jack&cokes in his memory.
