Whats up guys, just wondering what type of spark plugs are you for using for your gs's I would like to upgrade mine but do'nt know what i should go with.  give me a little help ib picking a good plug. I would like to with something that would give a better idle and more performance, and a hotter spark.  Thanks

The GS500 Wiki is a great place to start, if you want to do anything yourself. It's a super easy job to do btw...

I like NGK spark plugs, the two kinds you can get are below.

Plug Type | Part number
Standard Plug: DPR8EA-9 #
Iridium Plug: DPR8EIX-9

Iridium is basically a higher performance plug with claimed toleration for higher heats and less fouling.

Cheers,
J

I got the Iridium NGK plug because I can and it works fine.

Don't expect any noticable power increase  :icon_twisted:

had NGK oem  moved up to a NGK cooler model (don't ask I let the mechanics deal with details like part numbers)  :flipoff:

I switched cause I do 90% highway riding in 100+ a little better response, but takes longer to warm up...
