Title: Help me price my bike.

How much should i ask for in my craigslist ad? :dunno_white:

1999
40k miles (yeah, you read that right)
No cosmetic damage
Needs to be stated with the choke on. Could use a carb cleaning.
Runs very strong once warmed up.
New tires\oil\filter last month.

I paid $1400 for my 1998 with 12K miles, and it wasn't as pretty.  I'd say ask $1400 if the tires are in good shape.  You may have to take less, but you can start there.

eh shoot high and be willing to negotiate.  Cali market is different from the rest of the world.
ask 1800-2k but be ready to take 1400.

waitaminute, didnt the 97's onward have the silver colored engine, and not the black? or is this a different engine?

Got $1700. Fair deal. He's an experienced rider and he's getting a good reliable bike.



ps: don't think for a second that I wont be around just because I sold my gs.  ;)
