Title: Tach Cable... self-unscrew
Post by: TANNER on September 21, 2007, 08:18:38 AM
hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had their tach cable work itself loose? My tach just stopped working today and I found the cable hanging there :dunno_white:
Curious if anyone else had came across this little issue..?

Yeah, it's fairly common. A little blue loctite clears it up.

Teflon tape works too.

Just snug them down with pliers and they'll stay there forever.  They always seem to come loose and fall off if you just tighten them with fingers.
