I kinda have my dream bike...I would always like to have other bikes, there are soo many. SV650s or SV1000s would be cool, ducati monster, maybe a daytona 675. or what are those ducatis like a 745? i like those. pretty much any bmw and a motard would be awesome! I don't really have just one dream bike.

+1
daytona are gorgeous, sound amazing, only wiegh 363 pounds. 123 horse, 50something ft/lbs torque. with 85% of the torque available at 4k rpms. i think about 10% the gs500's torque is is available there. :icon_rolleyes: :dunno_white:
GSF Bandit 600/650 or SV 650.
Both naked. :thumb:
late 80's honda v4 rc30 (the first true race bike with lights).
you can see why I painted my bike this way:
Is that RC30 a 2 smoke v-4?
Never seen one.
That paint job you got, looks pretty sweet!
RC30 is the VFR750R. V4 and 4 stroke, but still sexy as hell and and powerful. :thumb:
aprilla rsv mille 1000r the 75 grand one :) but i would never ride it, just sit on it and hug it and kiss it
I think my dream bike would be a ducati, i love the sound and to me they just symbolize the most desirable motorcycle you can buy. Its like a Ferrari, some people would go for the Ferrari some would go for a Lambo. I would certinally class a duca as my dream desirable bike.
However my realistic dream bike is a BMW F800S. 85hp 88Nm of torque and 95% of it available at 5k rpm :)
95rwhp
162lbs/ft.
85mpg
Dude, this would be SOOOO much fun to ride. And cheap to keep fueled up too :thumb:
what is it terry
It's a Twinstar Thunderstar.
1200cc turbo-diesel. The engine essentially an upgraded and beautified VW Lupo engine.
It's 'supposed' to come into production fairly soon (I've heard everything from late 08-early 09 )
And a projected US price of about 12k.
Just for reference, it puts down almost 70lbs/ft more than a hayabusa :o
Just because of the Diesal Engine isnt it ,
My mums boyfriends 2 litre Diesal Turbo , has more Torque than his friends 400 bhp skyline
is that a new BF or the one in jail?
Hes a New one yea , she broke up with the Tattooed one , and hes now moved to Finland...
i may know how you feel, my own mother having 6 husbands and countless bf's...it is not good
yea , its annoying , like The tattooed one, like tattoos and piercings , was the most amazing motorbike rider , and a painter ,
but this one is a amazing Drummer , and me being a drummer , u no , i suppose its ok for me
Yeah, diesels have a way of making great torque :thumb: My old 240d only puts out like 70hp but it puts out over 100lbs/ft of torque :thumb:
Yep , Like the Y2k Superbike ,. that is a Turbine Engine , but it runs on Diesal , Aeroplane Fuel , and that puts out Insane Torque
and usually diesels ( built with thicker walled pieces, which usually fire by compression, using a glowplug to light , ) are fairly simple machines. but that torque, would it not be somewhat of a wheelie monster? :o
or ripping your arms out of your sockets...that much torque in a bike is of no interest to me.
320 BHP @ 52,000 RPM . And Yes I Mean 52,000 !
425.1 ft.lbs Of Torque At 2000 Rpm
Top Speed 250 Mph
0-200 Mph in 15 seconds
Yummy!
RSD Grunt
Threadjack and revival!!!!!
I still would buy a twinstar because that's just f%$king cool as hell and unique but my dream bike would have to be a D16RR
(http://www.raptorsandrockets.com/images/Ducati/D16RR_002r.jpg)
200hp and 86 lbs/ft :cookoo:

Id like one of these:
dacati gt1000 sportclassic
(http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c390/Domindart/bikes/90517791_1thumb_550x410.jpg)
or
suzuki sv1000
(http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c390/Domindart/bikes/sv.jpg)
I'd prefer this over a GT1000 but the GT is still a dead sexy bike
(http://www.motorcycledaily.com/mh9003q.jpg)
It's here :thumb:
Dealer serviced one out as a demo for serious buyers, the former owner of the dealership is a friend and riding buddy and the finance manager is a friend of ours so at about 7pm while we were hanging out and helping the sales staff sell a few new bikes they pulled the 08 1000rr out the front door fired it up and said here you go guys go put a few miles on it......smooth as butter tranny, linear power curve extremely comfortable seating, the pegs have been moved back and the seat has been raised 1/2" the bars are 1/2" higher and 1/2" further forward. Super skinny frame and light and flickable. The only way to tell your on a 1000 and not a 600 is the godawful wrenching of your arms from the shoulder sockets and the slight extra lean needed to overcome the higher centrifigul force of the heavier rotating mass.
Once we get the house refi'd the wife says I can upgrade.... O0
mid summer or early fall the dream machine should be in our garage

yes thats nice. only thing is the gt has a upright sitting position which I like.
Hmm, let's see...
1) Electric torque-sensing VFD drive
2) Monocoque composite structure
3) Sane seat height
4) Weight under 275 lbs ready to go
5) Active traction control
6) Magnetorheological fluid active suspension
7) Semi-standard seating position
8) Fully adjustable controls, seat, bars, and windshield
9) Room for hard bags that don't look out of place
10) Headlights that work
11) A few other little things
It's a hobby. Interestingly, all the technology is available off the shelf. God only knows if I'll have the skill to ride it though :icon_mrgreen:
Wouldn't mind having one of the 50 MotoCzysz C1 replicas. Only $100,000...
