Of all the exhaust out there for the GS's, whats cheapest? Best sounding? Best built? Best looking?
I'd like to get one at some point to play on (or a triumph Scrambler). I plan on the Katana rear wheel swap...slip ons...............and thats it...lol
Hey, it'll be the 2nd toy so it gets less financial love.
IMHO - The Vance and Hines Supersport with a K&N is downright obnoxious. Is that a bad thing ? Not in the least. Just wear earplugs for longer trips, and the short ones are still and obnoxious blast.

If you search youtube and google for videos of gs500 + whatever exhaust you're considering, and wear GOOD earphones, you can get a good idea how throaty a system is. Big speakers really don't do justice. Earphones are the way.
Good reply ohgood :thumb:
I had the V&H exhaust and took it off after about 2 weeks... It sounds bad IMHO. Some like it... I just think it was way too much for the little 500.... For me... Little bike = little sound. Its just not right for the little GS to be loud :thumb:

I honestly like the sound of my stock '92....I'm not all about loud pipes... Come on, if I wanted that I'd be riding one of them Harley's....

I give a big thumbs up to the Jardine system :thumb:
Yep, the V&H is great. Very loud, very obnoxious, and perfect for the Baby G.
Be considerate though and short shift though town. Don't even think of warming up your bike in front of a hotel at 5am. :nono:
jardine full system is nice and deep! sounds awsome! :thumb:
Hmmm, I'll check when I go home today. Compter at work = no sound.
