congrats on the new truck juggy!  :thumb: i gotta confess, i was raised to think that ford vehicles were inferior to chevy or dodge vehicles. but now i'm all growed up with a taste of my own. and i gotta say, i'm extremely impressed with the way ford has changed the look of their trucks recently. if i was in the market for a new truck it would deffinetly be a ford! awesome looking trucks! :thumb:

Man for a Stock for Sound System it's Killer.Oh and I don't have to hold it to the Left to keep from Hitting the Ditch.  The Interior don't Rattle and I can Actually hear music without having to Crank it all of the way up.
I'm going to Uncap the Dog food can off of the Headers on the Dodge and Take it for one more Scream thru the Neighborhood before I stick the for sale sign on it. :thumb:

Jeserio I was Raised Around all three but have Always Preferred Ford or Dodge.I like the Looks of the Interior of the Chevy but the Body Styling I just can't cut.I drove a Worn out 89 S10 for a few Years and just Couldn't stand the Interior Rattling all of the time. :icon_confused: Rattled just like the Camaros.

That's the bad thing about new cars.  You just can't do anything yourself anymore.

Slap some bigger alloys on that beast! Lovely truck. I want a truck but its economical suicide here in the UK. Fuel costs and tax costs being so high and so many extra taxes for big things like 4x4s and pickups.

Not mine yet but I'm looking at some Mickey Thompsons,Fender Flares,Running Boards,Vent Visors,Tinted Windows,Hitch,Bed Liner,Tool Box ETC. The Bedliner will come First. Then the Tinted Windows. After that it'll be whatever I can Afford.I would like to ditch the 17" Wheels and go with 16" Alloy's with Slightly bigger tires.I don't want to get it much taller since I can't hardly look over the Bed Side and I'm nearly 6'5". :o Hell my uncle has a 90 3/4 Ton Dodge Cummins Diesel 4x4 and I can still reach stuff in the middle of the Bed. :dunno_white:

I Loved my Dodge Dakota but this thing runs Super Sweet and uses a Whole lot less gas. :thumb:

Juggy is that the FX4 or FX2?

I like the OEM wheels that came on mine. The 18" LT tires are not gonna be cheap when I have to buy new ones though.

It's the STX. :thumb: Really like the 4 Doors.I have Room enough for my Toolbox,Cooler and Ammo cans for all of my tiedowns and Bungie Cords. :thumb:

Yeah BP I'm dreading buying the 17's for mine.Just Curious does yours have the 4.6L/What kind of Gas Mileage do you see.Looks like I'm going to get 400-460 Per Tank.I'm not complaining one bit since My old dodge only got 12-13 MPG.

FX4 is fords 4 wheel drive designator FX2 is for 2 wheel drive.
Yeah I went with the 4.6L engine in mine. I get right at 17mpg on the highway 14 or so around town.
Took the wife to New Orleans for our anniveresary at the end of August and got the highway fuel mileage numbers from that.
I also have the crew cab not the regular cab. I thought about getting the super crew but the didn't have any on the lot with a full size bed they all had that damned stubby bed I hate.

Yeah I can't stand the Stubby Beds Either.I Don't like this one too much Even though it's 6 1/2' I'm used to an 8'.A fellow I know bought a 2000 Dodge Diesel Extended Cab and it only has what looks like a 4 1/2' bed. :icon_rolleyes:

I was looking for a f-250, I could have had a crew cab and 8ft bed instead of the 6 1/2  bed on the 150. They found one equiipped with the power option features almost identical to my 150 with the triton v-10 for $1800 over what I paid for my truck. Problem was is my old worn out siverado was about to lose the motor so I couldn't wait the week or 2 it was going to take for them to have it delivered here. I poured 90 weight gear lube in the motor on my chevy to keep it quiet long enough to get a $2000 trade value on it. otherwise i was looking at only $200 to $500 trade in.

Have fun with your new ride.

I ended up driving a friend's new F-150 a couple weeks ago.  I think they actually did a decent job on it this time.  Closing the doors doesn't make the whole thing rattle, the plastic parts don't squeak either.  Interior is quiet, and the exterior doesn't look "weird".

I thought the seats were excellent.  Not only were they supportive and very adjustable, but the cushions are deep and they soak up all the bumps and jolts on a rough country road.  (Which is every road here in IL)  Sooo much better than the bench seat in my shop pickup, I get back pain after about an hour driving it.

Maybe in 6 or 8 years I'll buy one used.  Assuming Ford stays in business, they prove they can make it to half a million miles, and my Dodge needs a new body by then.  :thumb:

My cousin is an authorized dealer for Mickey Thompson.  He might be able to save you some money over wholesale.  Sweet rig, BTW.
