Looking for a front fender for my 97 GS 500 E. My current one has a melted spot on it, and I'd like to replace it with one that is structurally sound. I'm planning on repainting the bike over the winter, so the paint doesn't have to be perfect. I'd still like it to be free of any structural defects that painting will not be able to cover.
I don't know if the fender was changed with the 2001 E's or the later F model GS's, but if not then I'll take one from those years if need be.

fyi... all the years are the same, except for color. Also, 89-97 Kat 600/750 fenders fit as well.
I have one, paint is not perfect, but it is in good structural shape as you say. Ill take $30 shipped, I can put up a picture or 2 tonight if you are interested.
