I recently purchased a 1990 GS500E with a 99 engine in it and I'm looking to find a Service manual for it. I've found some CD manuals on ebay and went by the Suzuki Dealer in town and it was like nearly 70bucks for a service manual. I was just wondering if anyone had one they wouldn't mind getting rid of cheap, or if anyone knows of like a pdf one I could get online for free. If I have to I'll buy the CD from ebay and just print it out into a binder or something. Just wondering if I could get some help from some fellow GS brothers.
or you could use the link on the home page which helps support the site....

I actually just noticed that not long after I posted this topic. I googled GS500E Service manual it the gstwin.com page came up. I rarely see the homepage because I just go straight to the forums.
Has anyone used the Clymer Suzuki Manual? Is it much different than the Original Suzuki manual? Just want to make sure if I do get this thing it's going to give me accurate descriptions and all that. Still wouldn't mind getting a free pdf manual I could print off. But I wouldn't mind spending some money on a manual that's going to support this site.
I have all 3... Clymer, Factory and Haynes.... listed in the order of my preference of use.
Well, that coming from the "Motorcycle God!" I should probably be pretty confident in the Clymer Manual.
Do you think it is simple enough for a beginner like myself. This is my first bike, so I'm not real familiar with any motorcycle lingo. Would I have any trouble using this manual? I'm guessing any manual is going to take some getting used to the terminology and stuff.
The Clymer manual is really good. I learned how to rebuild GS motors by mine. Plenty of pictures to make things clear. The Clymer and the Factory manuals are basically the same. For some reason I can find things faster in the Clymer, maybe since I started with it.
Cool thanks for the help. I'll probably just go ahead and get the Clymer then.
