what turbo and turbo size would you reccomend.

At least  a  T-4 or even a T-60 :laugh: And watercooled is the only way to go :laugh:

Before you go blowing a few wads of cash on the wrong stuff (TM), do a forum search for 'turbo'.

Then do a search for 'turbo' on youtube.

I didn't know Volvo made tractors?! Could they be re branded over here in the UK?

ROAD tractor.....big friggin truck    I-6 or V-8 300-600 HP

my uncle TCed  one or two of his John Deere farm tractors  one was a 4230.

Yea tractors are so expensive these days that its just cheaper to add turbo's to the smaller ones or tune them up rather than investing more capital in larger tractors.

We farm around 1200acres over a few farms here in the UK and hire a tractor each year to do our heavier work like cultivating. This year we had a Fendt 919 -330hp (an absolute friggin beast) worlds best tractor in my opinion, joystick controlled with electronic everything, much different to john deere's even new ones where your still much more manual.

We also had on hire a JD 8920 300hp and a Claas (CAT) Challanger 260hp with tracks  :icon_twisted:
