Title: Headlight brakets for Katana front end
Post by: darb85 on October 09, 2007, 12:11:08 PM
I am looking for headlight brackets for a katana Front end.  I cant seem to find any that fit the 41mm Forks.  Anybody have some or maybe can fab me some?  Im using some custom front lights so I just need the brackets.

Let me know what ya got.

Thanks all.

Brad

Universal brackets or GS with no rubber grommets. You can cut and weld the GS brackets so the fork holes are larger. Then just reuse the rubber GS grommet. It's a tight fit that way.A muffler shop could do it for about $20.

Right ... you can have a muffler sop spread the stock GS ones. 50% it wont break, if it does, yea, weld and smooth it with a dremel and use the stock GS grommets, and yes tight fit, but, if it breaks, get grommets for a GSX 1100 G (91-92 vintage) and use those. Lots of WD40 will keep them from busting though, mine are fine. Biaaaaatch to fit but ok once they are on.

The bandit 400 has 41MM fork tubes and the same style of headlight bracket as the GS. Not sure about the naked 600s but the US bandit (91-93) uses the parts needed. A little easier then making the GS work. Good luck

B4 is not same as kat. B6 maybe.
But this is an ancient thread.
The dude that posted as Buddha in this thread I think is now in a retirement home.
Cool.
