Nice looking bike. He says it was imported into the US but the bike seems to say otherwise...

If I was anywhere near there, that would be in my garage already... </drool>
Mfd. in the US and exported for sale in the UK, then brought back over....
Damn, that's a slick looking bike. Some USD forks would be nice though.

Wife and I have always wanted to see NYC. Wanna work out a shipping deal?
My bike still up for sale :) has those USD forks you like too SPCterry
There must be one or two of them at the dealer where I got my GS from, this spring.
Damn, I'm soooo tempted...
400's arn't the best learner bike. They go like shaZam! of a shovel.
That's what I keep hearing. Hopefully I'll find out for myself :icon_twisted:
You will if you come over and ride it hehe.

Now why would you go and even give me that option...
Let's see, if I get the bike, my credit card bills should be paid off by..... around 2050
Casi you don't have to worry about it now, the bike sold a couple of days ago.
Does anyone remember what the price was on thie black and orange Bandit 400? I know the link is expired, but I'm about to purchase a Bandit 400 and I want to know what kind of deal I'm getting!
$1,800 comes to mind. However, the exterior of the bike was PRISTINE. Assuming the mechanics were equally well taken care of, it was a good buy. I had to think about it for a minute when I saw the photos. :)
Try kbb.com too. :thumb:
If you buy one I'm gonna have to ride out to Rolla to see it. :icon_mrgreen:
I'll post pictures once I get it...then maybe you don't have to make the drive...though I'd be up for a ride.
a 400....i don't think so
It is a 400 that has roughly 20% more rear wheel hp than a GS500 and turns better. Yeah, I got one too. That PITA is that it is a rare bike and finding used parts is pointless since they are so old. I needed a starter this year, and bought 3 used starters (circa 1992) before deciding to rebuild the one I had.
400s kick ass and would recommend one to anyone. If you want a small sportsbike - particularly for the track then you dont get much better. Almost the same performance as a 600 in a bike lighter and smaller. My ZXR400 puts down 70bhp (slight mods) but standard is 65bhp. And will wind its way up to 140+ mph at 14700rpm.
They are not slow, infact seriously quick!
