He says its off a 96. its Straight Spoked , and he claims its a 4.5 inch rim , now ive been looking for one of these for ages!
isnt it from a 97 tho ? any ideas anyone because the Gsx Rear wheel is rare , and it just means i spent 25 pounds on a 150 tire , and got a free bandit wheel
:D Thanks

dunno for sure if its a 96 or 97 Katana rear wheel. I suppose the issue is that one year isnt useable?
Try asking over at maximum-suzuki.com since they have a katana specific forum there. They should be able to answer your question with authority.
Cheers bud , already got a bandit 600 wheel i cant use :thumb:
Spoke to the guy on the phone said it was a 98+ wheel , and i bought it for 40 pounds not bad , i have my brand new tire of my bandit 600 wheel ,
he also sed , if its not right , he'll pick it up and pay me all my money back ,
cant say fairer than that :thumb:
I havent seen one of these on ebay before , if they're was i wouldnt of got a bandit wheel lol
Jay,
what is wrong with the bandit wheel
curved spoke and 4.5 wide....correct?
As adjusted to the wiki , It needs a custom spacer made up , Hmmmmz didnt mention that :thumb:
what..... the center spacer from a GS in the hub....
they dont fit, i bought a set of GS bearings for the bandit wheel , they didnt fit,
the Inner Spacer , im not 100% but according to Hmmmmz , u need a custom spacer
IM me if you want to use the wheel you have....
we can get you going with what you have....
Jay?
Dont pay silly money for wheel bearings, they are all the same. If you are stuck I can source them for next to nothing and I will post them down to you. Just let me know the size, it will be stamped or printed somewhere on the bearing and will be something like 6204 or 6304.

Hey dude , im having major trouble with the b6 wheel mod , what did u use as a inner spacer? its driving me mad at the moment
Any help would be much thanked , ive looked at our walk thro , and it doesnt mention the inner spacer ,how did u do it ?
thanks
Jay
oh sh*t, i forgot to mention that in the write up,
i got one made up the same lenth as the bandit one, but the same dimensions as the gs,
i learnt the hard way not to run with out the spacer when the bearing collapsed
sorry i didnt put that in the write up..
ummm sh*t your best bet is to get a turner to make you one up, a guy did one for me for a fiver and took him 10 mins to do.
Thanks Sledge , i have a set of bearings that i got off ebay for like 2 pounds , its the iner spacer ,maybe im just well confused
if the bandit wheel is anything like the GSXR750 one... i think same
use the center spacer from the B6
all it does is keep the bearings from being side loaded it does not have to be the same ID as the GS axle OD
just check that it won't ride over the inner race of the bearings
ive just recieved my Gsx wheel , and the tire off the Bandit it is almost new ,so im gona sell the old bandit wheel with no tire , and probs make some money back
Easyer!
