Title: mirrors vibration
Post by: asung on August 11, 2003, 12:18:42 AM
Hi,
My GS's mirrors vibrate like crazy even at 40-50mph.  Is this normal?  Because they are vibrating so much, I can't really use them well.  Any fix for this?  Thanks.

the gs is buzzy by nature so it does vibrate..

however i noticed that after a carb sync that got a lot better. YOu can try tightening the sutff down, but for the most part you will have a bit of a vibration that will distort your view.

And if you really need to see clearly for some reason, pull the clutch in for a second.  All will be crystal clear.  Then resume normal riding.  The GS's engine vibrates quite a bit.  Make sure the bar-end weights are in place.  Tighten all connections on the mirrors.

Check to make sute the bolts are tight too.  Sometimes slightly loose bolts can cause extra vibration.
